This RP takes place not long after the events Elsa and her friends saved the Enchanted Forest.
As the queen regnant of the kingdom of Arendelle, Elsa appears calm, reserved, regal and - unlike her sister - graceful and poised. Beneath this cool and collected appearance, however, Elsa is quite turbulent; in truth, the Snow Queen was, for a majority of her young life, troubled by her abilities, a feeling which stems from a traumatic incident as a child. When she was younger, she had cared strongly for Anna and, despite being the more mature and cautious of the two sisters. But shortly after saving the enchanted forest, she handed the title of queen over to Anna.
Unlike her older sister Elsa, Anna is optimistic, energetic, awkward, perky, and generally far from elegant. She is also free-spirited and has garnered an extrovert mentality after years of living within the confines of the castle gates without her sister's company. As a result, she is quick to make friends and craves affection and companionship, though this serves as potentially her greatest flaw, as she can sometimes be too trusting towards strangers. And new queen of Arendelle. (Kristoff's girlfriend/fiancé)
During his first proper introduction in the film, Kristoff is presented as a miserly loner, with a lack of respect for those around him—specifically in terms of personal boundaries and sensitivity. This is a direct result of growing up with a family of mythical creatures and wildlife, as opposed to other humans. Though his upbringing included a large family and at least one close friend, Kristoff tends to look out, mostly, for himself and can be rather selfish from time to time because of this, with his focus primarily on his ice business and life upon the mountains. The ice harvester spent a large portion of his early life in the mountains because of this, becoming an individualist and avid survivor in the wilderness, and constantly proving himself to be self-reliant and efficient when facing various perils. (Anna's boyfriend/fiancé)
In spite of being a reindeer, Sven has the personality and heart of a dog, namely a Labrador. As such, he serves as a loyal and playful companion to Kristoff. To the mountain man, Sven doubles as a supportive best friend and conscience, often advising Kristoff to do the right thing whenever the latter acts selfishly or refuse to follow his heart. To talk Kristoff into doing the right thing, Sven's usual method is a dramatic look of pity ("the puppy dog face"). When Kristoff's stubbornness gets the better of him, however, Sven can be rather stern and no-nonsense, and will defiantly stand his ground until Kristoff comes to his senses. This can sometimes cause a bit of tension between Sven and Kristoff, but their loving bond continues to prevail, as does Sven's advisement.
Olaf is an excessively benevolent snowman—optimistic, outgoing, and welcoming to all of whom he meets. The living embodiment of the bond between Anna and Elsa, and the memories of their youth, Olaf retains the childlike whimsy that surrounded the girls during their earliest days together, prior to their enforced separation. As such, he is childlike, far from a deep intellectual, innocent, and a hint too naïve for his own good at times. Nevertheless, his imbued nature and devotion to the two sisters play an instrumental role in rekindling their broken relationship. The circumstances of his creation also result in the snowman harboring aspects and traits both sisters give off. Like Elsa, Olaf is selfless, constantly putting his safety at risk for the sake of those he cares about; most notably Anna, to whom he immediately attaches himself, upon their first meeting. Like the younger sister, Olaf is an extreme optimist, often remaining relatively calm in perilous situations, or giving words of encouragement during the darkest hours.
It was a fairly normal day for the five friends. Anna, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf were visiting Elsa in the Enchanted Forest. (Shortly after they saved the forest Elsa gave the title of Queen to Anna and decided to stay in the Enchanted Forest.) And they were having a good time, eating some snacks, playing a game of charades... Until something upset the Earth giants, which wasn't common, since after saving the Enchanted Forest, the earth giants became nice and normal again. So whatever was upsetting them, it was certainly something. So, they went to investigate, taking two of their Northuldra friends Honey Maren, and Ryder with them. And when they arrived at the scene, they saw earth giants angry, standing in front of a person, a woman who looked like she didn't belong in the Enchanted Forest or Arendelle, because they'd never seen her before.
