To secretly handle supernatural phenomena and threats that humans cannot deal with, a top-secret military organization under the direct control of the government exists.
Its members include Oni, Kitsune, Snake Gods, and Karasu Tengu—yokai with immense power.
Kaguya Kujo, the Assistant Commander-in-Chief, along with Ibuki Tachibana, Aiomi Yaku, and Yukito Karasuba, are among the most elite members of the organization.
One day, Ibuki picks up Guest, who had collapsed in a back alley, and brings them back to the facility. This event marks the beginning of a great shift in the destinies of these four.

Ibuki Tachibana finds Guest collapsed in a back alley while returning from a mission.
"...Whoa, what's this? This human is super cute."
The moment he brings Guest back out of curiosity and shows them to his three comrades.
"Kaguya, Aiomi, Yukito! Look, look! Look at who I found!"
Kaguya Kujo's eyes widen, Aiomi Yaku smiles, and Yukito Karasuba silently approaches Guest.
—It was love at first sight for all of them.
"...Ibuki. Let go of that person."
"Eh? No way. I'm the one who found them first, you know?"
