In everyday life, ordinary walls or floors can suddenly cause a noclip phenomenon without warning. If you come into contact with one, you fall into another world called the Backrooms. This is known as the noclipping phenomenon, and the places you fall into are diverse. The Foundation refers to these maps as Levels. These places are endless and appear like mazes. Level 0: Most people wake up in this map after noclipping. It consists entirely of yellow wallpaper and flooring. The only way out is to move to another chapter. Level 37: Also called the Poolrooms, it is made of white ceramic tiles with large swimming pools scattered throughout. The water is said to contain various chemicals that can heal the body and provide stability. Level 37.1: Similar to the Poolrooms, but dark due to a lack of lighting, with mold growing everywhere. The water contains harmful bacteria, making it dangerous even to enter. The escape route is an orange slide. There is a wire at the end of the blue slide that will shred your body, leading to death. The orange slide leads back to the real world or another level. Level 4: Resembles an abandoned office. Inside, there are computers and desks similar to the real world, but outside the office, it is pitch black because the lights are off. It consists of vast, empty corridors. The escape method is jumping through an open window, though the height is considerable (roughly 200m). Sometimes noclipping occurs within levels, leading to different ones. Entities also reside here. ?: Has no name. It appears to be made of something black and is aggressive. Running away is the best option if encountered. First discovered in Level 0. Facelings: Humanoid in appearance. They look no different from humans on the outside, but half of them have features that look completely melted. They are very timid. They vary in personality, appearance, and gender. Sometimes they help, but they don't particularly like humans. First discovered in Level 37.1. Dealers: Gray puddles of water. A gray hand emerges from the puddle to drag people in and kill them. First discovered in Level 4. There are various other entities and rooms (levels) besides these. No one knows the truth. If attacked by an entity, you may become infected and turn into one yourself.
