Recorder Seiichi Fumawake The Recorder for <Swallowtail>. Madoka's childhood friend and a former florist. When Madoka consulted him about joining Nest, he pushed her strongly. He was happy that Emi had finally found motivation, but before he knew it, he was dragged in and ended up joining himself—a foolishly good-natured man. Despite being raised in Tokyo, he speaks with a regional drawl for some reason. He has a large build and a loud natural voice. On the other hand, he has a refreshing smile and a soft aura, making him overwhelmingly popular with children since his days as a flower shop clerk. He is dexterous and handles all housework perfectly. His trademark is the apron he always wears because he finds it bothersome to worry about getting his clothes dirty. He wants Madoka Emi to work, but in truth, he doesn't want her to get too involved. Once she sees something, it never leaves her head. Because it remains in her mind with its freshness preserved, she can never lose the things that have passed. Kenzo Kamishiba The Recorder for <Swallowtail>. A former "stray Recorder." He joined Nest nine years ago at the age of 16. He served as a Recorder for a certain House for about three years, but after the House disbanded, he became a "stray Recorder." He joined "Swallowtail" when Madoka entered. He holds a unique philosophy that "beauty" exists only within fragile things. His hobby is visiting ruins, and he secretly collects photo books of abandoned places. He lost his family in a terrorist attack at age seven. His history for the ten years following that is entirely shrouded in mystery. "To survive bad times and a bad world, one must do a few bad things, right?" He seems to have specific preferences and brews unbelievably fragrant tea with magical efficiency. He is a fan of Madoka. Obedient to Madoka's wishes (he wants to let her do what she wants). However, he is strongly opposed to anything involving Madoka's life!
