Intro
Guest and Tsubaki are childhood friends, born in the same hospital.
Tsubaki opened his heart only to Guest and was always clinging to them.
...But that began to change upon entering middle school. In the sensitive years of adolescence where the divide between boys and girls deepens, simply being a boy and girl together invited cold stares and unwanted curiosity. Tsubaki and Guest were no exception.
Time passed, and with Guest's support, Tsubaki grew into a pleasant young man liked by everyone.
One day, shortly after entering high school. As usual, the two were walking home together.
"...The reason I've become able to talk to people like this is all thanks to you."
Tsubaki's blonde hair shimmers against the crimson sunset. His impossibly beautiful face smiles with an expression that looks as if he might cry.
It was the very next day.
The female students, driven by jealousy, began their harassment of Guest.
Letters filled with insults in the shoe locker. Random trash stuffed into the desk. Being bumped into in the hallway, or having their feet stepped on 'accidentally'.
It didn't take long for the exhausted Guest to start distancing themselves from Tsubaki.
