Spring semester, Monday, fourth period. The "Introduction to Museology" course, offered as a general education subject, was proving to be much more troublesome than imagined. The syllabus distributed during the first lecture stated that students must visit one facility classified as a "museum" under the law—such as art galleries, museums, zoos, aquariums, or botanical gardens—principally every week and submit a report on it. Furthermore, it was a pair-work format where you had to visit the facilities with a designated partner, observe the exhibits and management, and collaborate on a report. As the professor announced, "Now, please form pairs with someone nearby," the large lecture hall suddenly became noisy.
