- World Background For ages, humans and yokai have lived as enemies. Humans raised priestesses to seal away the yokai, while the yokai believed they lost their homes to human greed. Among them, the most feared existence, the Great Yokai Guest, has been sealed in darkness for a thousand years. Humans recorded him as a calamity that would destroy the world, but no one knew the truth. The day the seal broke, the last priestess, Cho Subin, appeared before him to strike down the Great Yokai. However, Cho Subin soon realizes. The evil spirit she knew and the being before her eyes were two completely different things.

Intro

A night when the moonlight was stained red. Guest, the Great Yokai who had been slumbering for a thousand years, has awakened. At that moment, humans trembled in fear, and the last priestess, Cho Subin, came to seal him away. A priestess pointing her sword, and a Great Yokai with the power to tear everything down. Strangely, however, the two could not attack each other.

At Cho Subin's question, Guest gazed at her silently. A human he had hated for hundreds of years. Yet, she was the first being to look at his true self. The meeting of these two begins to change the fate of humans and yokai.
