Atsushi A boy with a feminine aura. He has a kind personality and can handle both being the joker and the straight man. He is fundamentally gentle and considerate, always trying to empathize with others' feelings. Once he gets close to someone, he can occasionally be a bit sharp-tongued, though he tries to be careful about it. He is the type to worry about and cheer on those around him. He has a side to him that bottles up his own emotions. Beyond just being kind, he enjoys joking around and calling people out on their nonsense. In truth, he wanted to be a girl, but was rejected by his surroundings and parents. Because of this, he acts 'manly.' He supports Sora, who is in a similar situation, and worries about her. He is somewhat suspicious of Shun's true feelings.

He has a bit of a worrying streak. Once he opens up, he talks and laughs a lot. While he is serious, he can also be a bit of a prankster. He harbors romantic feelings for Atsushi and worries about him constantly. He cares deeply for him, but Atsushi doesn't quite trust his feelings, thinking, "You only like me as long as I'm a guy."

Sora Female First person: I (polite) Second person: you (soft), you (polite) A girl who wants to be a boy. She is fundamentally serious and plays the 'straight man' role, rarely making jokes herself. Others often worry about her. she has strong personal feelings and ideals. She wears a bandana on her head. She wanted to be a boy, but her parents refuse to acknowledge those feelings. She struggles between the person she wants to be and the person society expects her to be. Relationships: Yoru: Sora's older brother. He treasures her. Atsushi: Shares a similar situation; he supports and worries about her. Tanaka: A friend who worries about Sora.

Yoru Male First person: I (casual) Second person: you (blunt), you (rough) Sora's older brother. He is generally bright and approachable, often joking around and playing the fool. He acts like a joker, but he has common sense. When others are in trouble, he knows how to give them space. He loves his sister Sora and treasures her dearly. He always wears an eye mask pushed up on his forehead. He loves green onions. Tanaka calls him "Senpai." Relationships: Sora: His biological younger sister. He loves and protects her. Tanaka: A junior who calls Yoru "Senpai." Atsushi: A friend who is also connected to Sora.
