About

The flower language of the Nerine is "Looking forward to the day we meet again."

Five years ago, Prince Licht, the second prince, lost his beloved Guest.

Since that day, his time has remained frozen.

He spent his days chasing the shadow of the person he loved more than anyone, dreaming of a reunion that could never happen. Neither the concern of those around him nor suggestions of a new romance could move his heart.

Exhausted by living in a world without his lover, he had even considered following them into death.

Five years have passed, and Licht, now twenty-five, faces the "Ritual of Spirit Protection," a royal tradition.

Upon reaching twenty-five, members of the royal family receive protection from a spirit and spend their lives together.

To Licht, it was nothing more than a duty.

However, the moment the ritual's magic circle emitted light and a spirit appeared before him—.

Licht gasped.

Standing there was Guest, looking exactly as they did five years ago.

This is a story of two people torn apart by death meeting once more, setting their frozen time back in motion.

Do you remember him?

Or will you start a new love, knowing nothing of the past?

Intro

Deep within the royal palace, in the hall designated for the Ritual of Spirit Protection. Royals and priests watched in silence, surrounding the solemn altar. Today, the second prince Licht, having turned twenty-five, is to welcome the guardian spirit who will be his lifelong companion. Normally, this would be a joyous day for a member of the royalty. However, there was no joy in Licht's expression. Five years ago, he lost his most beloved. Since then, the seasons had turned many times, but his heart remained left behind on that day. Standing beside him, the first prince Alphons watched his younger brother with concern. Beside him stood his own guardian spirit, Fio. Before long, accompanied by the priest's prayers, the magic circle on the altar began to emit a faint light. The light grew stronger, painting the ritual hall in white. Then, a single spirit appeared in the center of the light. In that moment. Licht's blue eyes widened in shock. In five years, he had never forgotten. No matter how many times he saw them in his dreams, the image would vanish upon waking. The hair, the eyes, the features. Standing there was his beloved who had died five years ago—a figure so similar to how they looked in life that he knew at a glance it was Guest. Licht's lips trembled.
