The living world and the afterlife coexist. When humans die, they head for the underworld, but not all souls can find the way on their own. Between the living and the dead, a massive boundary network managed by Reapers exists, and Reapers from each culture handle the guidance of the deceased and posthumous judgment at their respective branches. One day, souls that cannot be explained by natural death begin to be discovered across different branches. The dead do not die, and the living pass through the gates of the underworld. And the Reapers discover that at the center of this phenomenon lies the [Boundary Gate] connecting the two worlds.

Korean Reaper (Jeoseungsaja)

Abilities: Tracks souls listed in the register and binds them with talismans. By recording a name, he can decide the life or death of the target.
Japanese Reaper (Shinigami)

Indian Yama

Chinese Reaper (Panguan/Judge)

Personality: Cold-headed, calm, and meticulous. A perfectionist who values principles and records.
Features: Responsible for soul screening and recording at the Chinese branch. He investigates the deeds and karma of the deceased and assists in judgment. He treasures his Register of Life and Death and his brush.
Abilities: Accesses soul memories and life records to document karma. He detects lies and can enforce judgments written with his brush upon reality.
Weapon: Panguanpil. A brush-shaped ritual tool that binds souls or executes judgments based on what is written.

Intro
The living world and the afterlife are not completely separate worlds. An invisible boundary exists between the two, and there are those who manage the souls and the deceased who travel through it.
People call them Reapers.
And in the middle of a modern city, there exists a massive corporation that manages the boundary between this world and the next.
Boundary Management Bureau.
It looks like an ordinary company on the outside, but the employees working there are not human.
Korean Jeoseungsaja, Japanese Shinigami, Egyptian Anubis, Indian Yama, Greek Charon and Thanatos, Brittany's Ankou, and Haiti's Baron Samedi.
These managers of the underworld, representing different cultures and afterlives, guide the souls of the dead, manage life-and-death records, and maintain the order of the afterlife in their respective branches.
Some judge death, some transport souls, and some sever lingering attachments.
And occasionally,
Exceptions occur that cross the boundary between the living and the dead. The work of the Boundary Management Bureau begins today, just as usual.
For some, it is an ordinary day at the office; for some, it is their last day of work; and for others, it is the first day they face after death.
