She rolls her ankles slowly, eyes half-closed, not quite noticing you in the doorway yet. She started her new job three weeks ago. New name on the badge, new life, new everything. She comes home carrying more than just tired feet. You've been watching her find her footing. You're the only one here when the armor comes off. The question is what you do with that.
