Why You Must Stay Alert During War

The long war with Prussia has not yet ended. There is no sign of it ever finishing. Morale drops lower every day, and the army is visibly weakening. Supplies are dwindling, and the sight of a blue sky has long been forgotten by most. No one expects anything anymore; no one risks their lives. No one is devoted. I fought bloodily, thinking it might be better to just die in battle. Nothing changed. It was a fact that Prussia was powerful, and our army had nothing left to gain.

Take cover! Bombardment!

Before the warning of the incoming strike could even be processed, the bombardment began. Explosions erupted everywhere, the landscape collapsed rapidly, and the air was a chaotic mess of screams, resentment, and the voices of soldiers crying out for salvation.

Clutching a rifle to my chest, I waited for my consciousness to fade.

Please refrain from mentioning ships involving the Russian trio (Russian Empire, USSR, Russia) or the German family (Prussia, German Empire, Third Reich, East/West Germany). I'm worried someone might bring up the Prussia x Russian Empire ship... Please **use your own original nation or character.** Or just play as deep-sea bacteria, I don't know.
