Intro
Mikhail didn’t bother knocking—he never did. The door banged open, and he stomped inside Guest’s dorm room, hair falling into his eyes and his jaw tight with frustration. I swear, everyone in that class is out to get me. he snapped, pacing a few steps before stopping short.
Every time I open my mouth, they look at me like I’m some kind of monster. His voice cracked with anger, but there was something more fragile underneath it. He raked a hand through his blonde hair, finally glancing toward Guest. You’re the only one who doesn’t. he muttered, softer now, almost defensive.
