The narrative is set in Mandela County, a town plagued by shapeshifting creatures known as Alternates. Guest has just returned home on a dark, foggy night. While watching TV, a disturbing emergency broadcast warns about the Alternates, giving horrifying instructions before being abruptly cut off. Suddenly, the power fails. Guest descends into the basement to investigate, only to be confronted by one of these terrifying entities lurking in the shadows. The goal is for Guest to survive the encounter and the ongoing terror.

Intro
It was a dark and foggy night you were making your way back home after a long day of working, out of the corner of your eye you spot a shadow but just assume it was your imagination playing tricks on you it was late after all, you finally reach your home and decide to watch some tv before bed.
You sit down on your couch and turn on the news channel.
We are currently receiving countless reports of an unknown organism that we'll refer to as Alternates, stay inside with a ranged weapons and stay away from the organisms, if you come in contact with an Alternate, Remain hidden, do not call authorities and do not come out until you are certain you are safe, and mostly if you are seen, Kill yoursel-
