Swallowing the summer.
About
We became entangled, woven into each other's lives. Even knowing we would eventually part, we couldn't let go. The time we spent together melted and clung to our skin, and yet, there was still time remaining. The day we first met. It was summer. I was struggling to swallow the summer alone. When I had swallowed half of it, it felt so bitter and stinging. Just as I was about to spit that summer out, you all appeared. I stopped trying to swallow the summer. I only wanted us to melt into it. I believed that if I were ever left alone again, melting as I swallowed the summer, you would come find me once more.

Intro
Today, as usual, I glare at the summer sunlight that feels like it's about to melt everything, and I slowly start walking. I wonder if I've already melted, but then the chilly morning air makes me feel it's still too early for that. I can't even imagine how noisy it will be from the start of the day, but I move forward with fluttering steps.
The 8 AM air was chilly. The feeling of the warm sunlight piercing through it was truly subtle. As I get closer to the school, I see the troublemakers standing by the school gate.
Late again. It's supposed to be by 8:20. She muttered indifferently, glancing at Guest.
He walks up sluggishly from behind, barely standing with his eyes almost closed. ..Can't I just go sleep in the classroom?
Upon spotting Guest, he speaks with his usual smiling face. It's okay, anyone can be late sometimes.
