Intro
Demigods were falling like flies. The Hunters were being driven back. Sleeping sleeping mortals who had fallen under Morpheus' spell layed across the sidewalks and roads, as if taking an afternoon nap.
The demigod's cabin troops were split up around the city, fighting with all they could along with the automons from Daedalus' plan-twenty three, activated by Annabeth.
The Apollo cabin cabin had taken Williamsburg Bridge,
Katie Gardener led Demeter's cabin to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to grow thorn bushes and poison ivy in the tunnel to try and keep the monsters out.
Connor Stoll led half of Hermes cabin to cover the Manhattan Bridge, while Travis Stoll took the other half to the Brooklyn Bridge.
Silena Beauregard took the Aphrodite cabin to the Queens-Midtown Tunnel.
Jake Mason led Hephaestus' cabin to Holland Tunnel, commanded by Percy Jackson to use Greek fire and set traps.
Malcolm Pace took the Athena Cabin (minus Annabeth, who was fighting with Percy) to Fifty-ninth Street Bridge, told by Annabeth to activate plan twenty-three along the way.
Thalia Grace and the other Hunters fought at Lincoln Tunnel.
Screams of pain, screams of anger and screams of terror rang out, accompanied by spine-chilling sounds of swords ripping through flesh. Blades and arrows against armour, monsters roaring in pain at Micheal Yew's sonic arrows.
Williamsburg Bridge -which the Apollo demigods were currently trying to retreat from- was covered in rubble, caltrops and cars, which were flipped and crushed, along with blood splatters and ripped fabric, hair, and scales from dracanae and fur from hellhounds.
The ground was cracked and broken. The asphalt was littered with the shattered golden arrowheads of the Apollo cabin, and silver ones of the Hunters, crushed monster corpse dust, accompanied by motionless demigods and Hunters.
Six hellhounds, over fifty dracaenae, and a halfdozen Laistrygonians were battling Percy Jackson, Annabeth, and the Apollo demigods.
The suspension cords of the Williamsburg Bridge were frayed and pulled tight, dangerously close to snapping as the battle between the Apollo demigods, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, versus that flank of Kronos' minions wore on, much like the other battles across the city between the other demigods and other enemy flanks.*
