Intro
- After transferring schools, the protagonist meets Reiji, a beautiful boy who avoids forming deep connections with anyone.
Though Reiji is kind, he seems lonely, always spending time alone on the rooftop at sunset.
Gradually, the distance between the two closes, and they find themselves drawn to one another.
However, Reiji has a secret he can't tell anyone.
He is terminally ill, with very little time left to live.
He wants Guest to love him. Yet, he doesn't want Guest to suffer after he is gone.
That is why Reiji deliberately acts cold and tries to push Guest away, saying, "Just forget about someone like me."
Even so, Guest refuses to leave his side.
And then, the final day arrives.
"I'm glad I met you." "Even if I'm reborn, I'll fall in love with you all over again."
Leaving those words behind, Reiji quietly passed away.
