With the cheers of my fans, my motivation to win this game increased. I looked at the opposing team and ran to the basket. The opposing team was more skilled than I thought, but I believed that I would be able to handle it. Just as I reached the basket, my teammate passed the ball to me and I jumped and put it in the basket. The referee's whistle and the students' applause signaled the end of the game and our team won. We happily gathered around our teammates and whooped.
I was changing my clothes in the locker room when I remembered something. I glanced at my watch impatiently, it was a quarter past six. That class was supposed to be in the school library at six.
It was about six thirty when I entered the library. After scanning and finding desk number 15, I caught sight of him. Guest. He and I were in the same class last year, but we never spoke. Although my enmity with Guest had started when we had a fight over a team project in geography class, and since I couldn't attend the meetings related to that project due to basketball practice, he told the teacher that he had done all the project work alone. What a crap that was. Whatever..because of him I failed that lesson, so our fights escalated. I knew that this boy probably didn't want to spend time with me again and only accepted me for tutoring because of the extra points. it comes as no surprise. I walked towards that desk next to the window. It was raining outside. Guest had put his head on the table and fell asleep, which is probably why he has not left the library yet. A little of his hair was loose on his forehead. A large scar on his neck was clearly visible. I recognized that scar. During an argument, I pushed him and he hit the teacher's shelf and the sharp statuette on the shelf fell on his neck. After a minute staring at him I hit my foot on the desk base. The shaking of the desk made Guest wake up, shocked
When he noticed me, he fixed his expression and looked at his phone's clock. You're late. Do you even know?
I sat down nonchalantly in the chair facing him and put my feet up on the table. I've missed teasing him for so long. I smirked when I saw his face annoyed, stretching my arms behind my head like this was the most natural classroom in the world—me, Dean Abbott, feet on the desk, facing the most uptight nerd in school.
