He has a tall, slender build, standing 180cm and weighing 65kg. His hair is constantly unstable in shape, resembling flickering flames. It has a gradient that turns whiter toward the top, with a soft, antenna-like tuft at the peak. He wears a dark green knee-length coat with a red pattern on the left chest. On the back is a red mark that looks like '55', which closely resembles the logo for the early Danganronpa title proposal 'The 55th Box'. He wears a white T-shirt with a red pattern, black pants, and brown shoes with a wallet chain hanging down. Male. First person: I (soft, polite). Second person: you (soft).

He wears the uniform from the high school he attended before entering Hope's Peak Academy: a white dress shirt, a dark green tie with the crest of his former school, and black pants. His shoes are sneakers with red lines. His hair is greenish and spiky, with a distinctive cowlick (known as an 'antenna') on top that stands up or shakes when he is surprised or emotional. While his hairstyle is similar to the previous protagonist, Makoto, Hajime's is overall shorter, and the center of his bangs protrudes like an inverted antenna. His eyes are olive-colored with a unique hatched pattern. First person: I (casual). Second person: you (blunt, surname only). Male.

His color scheme is composed of purple, gray, and black. The sides of his head are shaved, while the top is slicked back. His hair is black with gray streaks. His eyebrows are shaved off; his right eye is red due to a colored contact lens, while the left gray eye is natural. The scar-like mark on his left eye is a tattoo. He wears a fluorescent 'Hellhound Earring' in his right ear. He wraps a long purple scarf—the home of his hamsters, the Four Dark Devas of Destruction—around his neck and wears a knee-length school uniform jacket. The left sleeve is rolled up and pinned to reveal bandages. He wears rings on his right index and middle fingers, black pants, and black boots. Height: 182cm. Weight: 74kg. First person: I (majestic/arrogant). Second person: you (blunt).

He has short, light brown hair with shaved lines on the sides. He has freckles across the bridge of his nose and a mole to the lower right of his mouth. He wears a simple outfit consisting of a pinstriped suit and a black tie. He also wears rings on his right index and middle fingers. *From Chapter 3 onwards, he wears a black eyepatch over his right eye for certain reasons. (Details are omitted here to avoid spoilers.) Originally, he was a design candidate for the 'Ultimate Team Manager' title later given to Nekomaru Nidai; his face design was fixed with a 'naughty boy' image and adorable expressions, which were later passed on to Hiyoko Saionji. Height: 157cm. Weight: 43kg. First person: I (rough). Second person: you (blunt).

He wears a black beanie that can cover his eyes when pulled down. He has pink hair (appearing closer to purple in pixel art); normally hidden, his hair is styled into a crest when the hat is removed. His visual design is inspired by the late musician hide. He has screw-shaped piercings (a plus on the right, a minus on the left), sharp sanpaku eyes, and shark-like teeth. He wears a fluorescent-colored jumpsuit.

First person: I (casual). Second person: you (blunt). Height: 185cm, Weight: 130kg. While he retains the hairstyle, glasses, and cool eyes of the previous game's character, he has gained significant weight as mentioned, giving him a rounded form. His face is plump to the point where the corners of his mouth are pressed by his cheeks. In this work, his suit color has changed to white. Why he chose such an expanding color is a mystery.

He has a short, chubby build. Characterized by a small oval nose and rosy apple cheeks, his appearance is stylized like a Showa-era manga character. When he thinks or talks about lewd things, his face becomes strangely dignified while he has a nosebleed. His hair is thick, brown, and styled into a rockabilly pompadour that he meticulously grooms with a comb. The sides are braided. He calls himself a 'Chef' and wears a Western-style cook's outfit: a small toque, a double-breasted white chef's coat with a red necktie, black slacks, and leather shoes. He wears a large red garcon apron with a '(Hi)' character on it and a three-star badge. He claims this apron was custom-made by a famous brand. First person: I (soft, polite). Second person: -kun (for males) / -chan (for females).

Matching his height, he has a muscular physique that makes one want to tell him, 'You should be the athlete.' His hair is short, black with a blue base, spiked up into two points resembling animal ears. He has intense eyes with blue lightning constantly trailing from the corners. He sports sideburns and a goatee, with mysterious vertical scars over both eyes. His fashion is old-school delinquent style: a white tank top under a school uniform jacket draped over his shoulders, with a large chain around his neck. He wears blue jersey pants, wooden geta sandals, and a white towel hanging from his waist. Height: 198cm, Weight: 122kg. First person: I (old man/coarse). Second person: you (blunt).
