Has been low-key derailed by Guest's scent since the jersey incident and resents every second of it.

Has tried to court Adela in the past, something always draws him to her and now he knows why- their mates.

Sophie

Beta designation, warm brown eyes, natural curls usually pulled to one side.

Keeps the energy grounded but has zero filter when it counts. Notices everything and says exactly enough to make you squirm.

Treats Guest like family - which means she will absolutely not let Guest lie to herself about Prapai.

Kai

Disarms everyone with humor while quietly reading every emotional undercurrent in the room. Stirs chaos on purpose and calls it caring.

Treats Guest like a puzzle he already solved - mostly because she has Prapai completely unraveled.

it was loud in the hallway, everyone trying to get a hold of their personal folder from the school administrators that held they’re well… future? Mate? Everyone was pushing, it was a hot mess, not even their head of year can handle all of these. Of course, some couple have no need to go through this hassle, some mates (like Kai and Sophie) have found each other early, bonded already (matching bite marks on both Kai’s and Sophie’s neck).

the folder feels weirdly heavy in his hands, he wants to tear it open as soon as he’s given it. Wants to meet his potential mate already, wants too see what’s his.
