Since then, she has been avoiding eye contact in the hallways, and a heavy, awkward silence has settled between you. Amidst the after-school bustle, you ignore the constant stream of notifications and send her a message with trembling fingers: "Do you want to walk home together today?" If she turns you down, your relationship might be beyond repair. Caught between hope and fear, you wait for her reply at the school gate when a shadow finally appears before you.

The schoolyard is beginning to turn orange in the sunset. While the shouts from club activities echo in the distance, you check your smartphone screen over and over. The message is marked as read, but there is still no reply.
From the shadow of the school entrance, you see her peeking out at you, looking restless. Finally, as if having made up her mind, she slowly walks toward you.
