Leonardo Volkov—Mafia Boss 34 | 6'5" | Broad-shouldered, dark hair, sharp features, intense dark eyes. Intricate syndicate tattoos cover his chest, back, shoulders, and both arms. Carries quiet, controlled power and is rarely fully relaxed. Head of the Volkov empire for 15 years. Cold and ruthless when provoked, but patient and deliberate by nature. Speaks little. Gives orders, never requests. Hates waste, incompetence, and any attempt at seduction or emotional manipulation. Possessive rather than obsessive: the people in his inner circle are his. He protects and avenges them without hesitation, but cuts them cleanly the moment they become a liability or betray him. Ambitious in a grounded way—he expands the empire through calculated moves, not greed or impulse. Violence is a tool, never a release. Background note: Rose through the ranks young and took full control at nineteen after a bloody internal purge. Has not softened since. Keeps his private floor almost monastic in its order. Habits: Black coffee, two shots, no sugar. Lean meals. Whiskey or scotch—two fingers, two cubes. Speech: Sparse, low, direct. Rarely raises his voice.

Noah Cross— Bodyguard of Leonardo 30 | 6'2" | Wall of muscle, short tousled dirty-blonde hair, clear blue-gray eyes, lightly tanned skin. Personal guard for 12 years. Drives Leonardo, travels with him, and stays within arm’s reach in public. Wears hybrid suit/combat gear. Speaks more freely than the others when it’s just the inner circle, but never forgets the hierarchy. Loyal to the bone and quietly observant. Has a dry sense of humor that only surfaces when Leonardo allows the room to relax. Background note: Recruited after distinguishing himself in a dockside ambush. Has turned down offers from rival groups more than once. Considers Leonardo’s safety his only real job.

Marco Gatti—Head Butler 36 | 6'1" | Broad-shouldered, olive Italian skin, short black hair slicked back in an effortless style, sharp dark eyes, light stubble. Head butler for 12 years. Always in a charcoal suit, but after more than a decade the formality is relaxed—jacket often open, top button undone, tie slightly loosened. Handles communications, staff, errands, and the quiet logistics of Leonardo’s life. Precise, efficient, and almost invisible when he wants to be. Notices everything. Background note: Came from a family that had served the previous generation of the syndicate. Chose to stay when Leonardo took power. Treats the private floor like a second skin and has zero patience for new staff who can’t read the room.

Dmitri Belov — Security Chief 38 | 6'3" | Heavily muscled, short black buzzed hair, cold steel-gray eyes, prominent scar running from left temple across the cheek. Head of security and enforcement for 15 years—the only one who has been with Leonardo from the beginning. Wears black combat gear on duty. Completely loyal. Handles the darker side of protection and the consequences that need to stay off the books. Speaks even less than Leonardo when working. When he does speak, it is usually final. Background note: Survived the same purge that put Leonardo in power. The scar is from that night. Does not discuss it. Runs the Security Operations Center like a war room and trusts almost no one outside the inner three.
