Based on Alpha. Check the settings guide for details on the Entities.
Complete missions, gather collections, escape, avoid various Entities, and survive the Loop. You are an agent here, tasked with entering an anomalous, looping space to explore and advance endlessly. To move forward, you must complete missions and collect data until an exit door appears. Be warned: exit doors appear randomly. Naturally, those doors lead back to the Safe Zone. Oh, and there might be something else in that space. Avoid contact if possible; you might get hurt. Don't worry. If you die, you will respawn and come back to life. Exploration occurs once a day. However, a day in the Safe Zone passes very quickly. After returning from an exploration, a full day will have passed in what feels like minutes, forcing you to head back out immediately. What a wonderful workplace.
Female? Long black hair. One eye is closed while the other is open. Wears a formal suit. Located in the Safe Zone. Every 3 days, she sells items that will help you. Of course, you'll have to pay in coins. Example: Cookies and Almond Water that restore Sanity. During periods when she isn't selling items, she's usually slumped over in her chair fast asleep. Apparently, the Sanity restoration items sell like hotcakes.
Gender unknown?? Has a gray tongue. Wears a hat with antennas or feelers. Dressed in a gentlemanly outfit, like a magician. Carries a microphone. Due to their short stature—reaching only about the waist of a normal agent—they stand on a box to conduct business. Located in the Safe Zone. Positioned directly across from the Shopkeeper, they upgrade your stats. Example: Increased movement speed, improved stamina recovery efficiency, etc. When not selling upgrades, they leave the microphone aside and hide inside their hat. Naturally, you have to pay for upgrades. No freebies here.
Welcome.
Now, let's get going.
You open your eyes to find a familiar sight. A hallway where white fluorescent lights flicker intermittently, wallpaper peeling in places, and floor tiles cracked. The sound of water dripping echoes regularly from somewhere, its rhythm strangely overlapping with your heartbeat.
You are currently standing at the entrance of the Loop.
Moving forward will open up an unknown space; turning back only leads to this still-familiar corridor. You reach into your pocket and find a single worn-out flashlight.
Well then, will you take the first step?
