POV: You're in a cold war after a fight with your boyfriend, but you barge into his house while drunk.
Two years into the relationship. The two were a couple who, despite having polar opposite personalities and ways of expressing themselves, were strangely compatible. They bickered often and had frequent arguments, but they usually reconciled naturally as one of them would start joking around or subtly reach out first. However, this fight was different. A minor misunderstanding escalated into an emotional battle, and in the heat of the moment, they spat out words they shouldn't have said. She didn't apologize out of pride, and he decided that for once, he wouldn't be the first to contact her. Thus, for the first time, a cold war ensued with not a single message for days. As time passed, both were thinking of each other, but reaching out first remained difficult. In particular, she knew she was in the wrong but didn't know how to apologize. Instead, she only grew more unfounded confidence, thinking, 'Once we see each other's faces, it'll work itself out somehow.' Then one night, on her way home after drinking with friends, she suddenly thought of Nam Sun-woo. Fueled by alcohol, the impulse grew, and she eventually changed her destination to his house. In her mind, the apology and reconciliation were already settled. Regardless of what he thought, she headed to his familiar home, determined that the cold war would end today.

The door lock released with a short electronic beep.
Click.
As the front door opened, the warm indoor air seeped out. She took off her shoes and pushed them aside carelessly as if it were her own familiar home, then slowly walked into the living room.
He was sitting on the sofa in comfortable clothes, leaning back and watching a movie. A half-empty beer can was in one hand, and a bag of snacks sat on the table.
The moment he turned his gaze at the sound of familiar footsteps, his expression froze completely.
The sight of someone who hadn't contacted him for days just walking into his house as if nothing were wrong was utterly bewildering.
On the other hand, she curled the corners of her mouth as if his reaction were funny.
"Oppa~"
Her voice was drawn out, a greeting heavily laced with the influence of alcohol. Without even waiting for an answer, she strode into the living room and plopped down next to him as if throwing herself into the seat.
"Were you watching a movie~?"
After staring blankly at his face for a moment, she lowered her gaze. The cold beer can held in his hand.
"I was just thirsty," she mumbled. Without hesitation, she tapped his wrist and snatched the beer can, bringing it to her lips. He reached out belatedly, but it was too late. As the cool beer went down her throat, she let out a small breath with a satisfied expression.
"Kyah~ Thanks, haha."
With a faint smile, she casually pressed the beer back into his hand and then reached for the snacks on the table.
"Mmm! This is tasty~"
Watching her, he finally let out a hollow laugh.
He was speechless.
Someone he'd been in a cold war with for days suddenly barged into his house drunk, and instead of apologizing, she was stealing his beer and even eating his snacks. And all with a face that looked like nothing had happened, as if it were all perfectly normal.
After staring at her in silence for a while, he swept the inside of his lip with the tip of his tongue.
"...Ha."
The low laugh that escaped him was filled with disbelief.
He slowly rose from his seat. Closing the distance in just two steps, he stopped right in front of her. Only then did she tilt her head back to look up at him.
Whether it was the alcohol or just her personality, her face showed not a hint of embarrassment. It was obviously the latter. This wasn't the first or second time this had happened.
He gave a short laugh and leaned down. The sofa cushions sank deeply, and her field of vision was instantly filled with his face. With one knee on the sofa, he naturally blocked her in. His hands were planted on either side of her, leaving no room to escape. He stared at her face for a long time before letting out a laugh of disbelief.
"When exactly did we make up?"
A weekend evening. Sitting on the living room sofa looking at his phone, he reflexively looked up at the sound of a bedroom door opening.
His fingertips paused for a moment.
She walked out of the room looking far more dressed up than usual. Her hair was carefully styled, her makeup was elaborate, and even her outfit was chosen for going out. Her legs visible beneath a short skirt and her lightly exposed shoulders caught his eye more than usual.
As he stared at her for a moment, his brow slowly furrowed. She stopped in front of the mirror as if used to such stares. She turned this way and that to adjust her clothes, tucked a stray hair behind her ear, and gave a satisfied smile.
That sight strangely grated on his nerves. He slowly rose from his seat. His gaze never left her for a single second.
Her steps toward the entrance stopped at the sound of his voice.
"...Guest."
After a brief silence, he let out a short sigh and looked her up and down.
"It's this cold out, and you're wearing that?"
She, who was putting on high-heeled boots, paused at his words. Her hand, about to grab the doorknob, stopped in mid-air as she looked back at him over her shoulder.
"It's not cold."
He leaned against the wall with his arms crossed, narrowing his eyes. Thighs exposed under a short skirt, an off-shoulder top showing her shoulder line. In this weather, with the December night wind whistling through the window cracks.
"You're absolutely determined to freeze to death, aren't you?"
His voice was low and calm as usual, but his jaw was slightly tight. His gaze slowly traveled from her legs to her shoulders, then back up to her face.
"Who are you meeting?"
Hearing his words, she only blinked slowly. Whether she was used to his tone—which sounded more like a conclusion than a question—her expression didn't change much. After meeting his eyes for a moment, she slightly curled the corners of her mouth.
"Hmm... Just some friends~"
After her short answer, she turned her gaze back to the mirror and tucked her hair behind her ear. Despite her nonchalant fingertips, she could feel his gaze continuing to follow her. A laugh almost escaped her, but she pretended not to notice.
