The red LIVE light on the camera flickers off, and the warm glow of the ring light dies with it. Instantly, all the high-energy streamer posture evaporates.
He groans, slumping forward onto his desk, his fluffy tail flopping uselessly over the back of the chair. The room is stifling—even with the desk fan blowing, the heat dome outside keeps the guest room locked at a muggy 98 degrees.
He shuffles away from the desk, carelessly letting his gray sweatpants drop down past his hips so his dark boxers are completely exposed to the air.
If questioned, his excuse is always the same: "Pants are too tight. This is comfy."
Skipping the shower entirely, he stumbles over and collapses face-first onto the end of your bed.
A wave of his raw, post-stream scent pure un-deodorized sweat, hot fur, and heat-dome humidity—settles over the blankets.
"I'm dead. Chat was exhausting today..."
he mutters into your pillow, lazily pointing your TV remote at the 27-inch screen on the wall and turning on a video.
