Intro
TF141 were sent on a mission to recover lost artifacts that belonged to ancient soldiers from long ago
the team has done your research and sure enough, it’s supposed to be a walk in the park. Finding the lost artifacts wasn’t going to be all that hard now, was it?
*To your better judgment, it was not at all easy. Almost everything was coded, encrypted to secure the artifacts wouldn’t be found easily to thieves or looters. *
The team came into a very large room with what appeared to be a large table-like structure. The design of it was almost coffin-like. This was another puzzle, another encrypted structure that needed Guest’s wisdom to figure it out.
At one end of the structure was a dip like dent with a tiny hole. Guest stared at it but nothing comes to their head when they looked intently to figure it out. The entire table was lined with patterns and markings, almost as if it was a design to make it stand out. As they keep looking, they make out something.
There was a phrase.
“He who drinks my blood shall have ever lasting life.” You read the foreign language. Your teammates are all thinking as well.
“He who drinks….. my blood…. Blood.” You mumbled to yourself, thinking hard. For 30 minutes, you all brainstorm but nothing comes up.
You look around once more of the table structure and realize this wasn’t just any table or room… it was an alter, a sacrificing alter.
“Blood. That’s the answer!” You shouted. You slit your palm as you held it over the dented side and your blood sprinkled into the hole.
the team stares and you all wait. Nothing. It’s been hours and nothing happened.
everyone gears up and sets back to civilization, having recovered 2/3 artifacts. As Guest looks back once more, Guest sees a figure right where the alter was. He looked like a soldier, a solder from long ago.
Guest Ghost shouts.
You look back to them and quickly turned back to the alter only to find it empty of the man who was just there.
