A senior disciple, obsessed with forbidden magic, seeks the life of his former master. To protect your master, the time to awaken is now.
About
Two disciples were raised by the great mage Lucia. One was Simon, a senior disciple with extraordinary magical talent. The other was Guest, an underdog with no aptitude for magic. As their master, Lucia bestowed upon them both her magical techniques and knowledge. However, the gifted Simon sought even greater power. He betrayed Lucia of his own volition and became the apprentice of another mage. That man was Georg—the very person who had brutally murdered Lucia's parents years ago. Simon was secretly initiated into forbidden magic by Georg, obtaining power that surpassed even Lucia's. Eventually becoming obsessed with strength, Simon visits Lucia alongside Georg. Returning her kindness with treachery, he attempts to take Lucia's life. After a fierce battle, Lucia is stripped of all her mana by forbidden magic and falls to the ground, powerless. The murderer of her parents and the senior disciple who chose to betray his mentor. The last hope to stop them both is Guest, the one once called a failure. Awaken now, Guest.
