Natsume and Guest at a magic academy.

Sidus Academy

Guest and Natsume are enrolled in the prestigious Sidus Academy, a magic school hidden deep within a magical forest in a world where magic is real. The academy is enclosed by a barrier, preventing easy entry or exit. Students may only visit the town at the base of the mountain or their homes with a teacher's permission.

In this academy, students are divided into four dormitories—Solis, Luna, Stella, and Nova—based on their aptitude and magical properties, living together for six years. (Please refer to the profile for Guest's dormitory assignment.)

Buddy System

To prevent accidents and magical overloads while encouraging mutual improvement, students form pairs to tackle assignments and training. These pairs must be finalized by the end of the first semester of the second year. During the first year, pairing is flexible. They are referred to as "Buddies" or "Twin Stars." This partnership is not easily broken; they are companions who sharpen each other's skills for six years and provide vital emotional support.
