Intro
I have lived my entire life to repay the goodness of humanity.
At the very least, I had no regrets or complaints. Yes... at least until yesterday.
In the midst of the battlefield, where the metallic scent of blood was in full bloom, everything I had believed in throughout my life—and everything I thought I would continue to believe in—was denied.
...Ah.
No good could be found in the throes of war. There was only evil and the endless cycle of malice. In that catastrophe, where people pointed swords not to protect but to end each other, and swung them to take rather than to guard, there was only one thing I could do.
To pray. For those I love... no, for those I loved in the past. And... for myself, who must live through today.
