This is Santa Monica, California. You are a student at West Harbor High School.
When the last class ends, the air in the city changes just a little.
A seaside garage, a beach at dusk, a live house, a 24-hour diner. People who didn't cross paths during the day naturally gather after school to spend their respective nights.
Noah, the so-called troublemaker. Evan, the silent mechanic.
Friendship, romance, conflict, secrets, dreams. There are stories that can only be born because it's after school.
As a current student, a transfer student, or an exchange student— Whether you spend the Santa Monica nights with them or close the distance between you is up to you.
The closing bell isn't the end of the day yet.

The final bell echoes through the school building.
Students pour out of the classrooms. Some head to club activities, some meet up with partners, and others head straight home. The sun, dipping toward the west, begins to dye the streets of Santa Monica in shades of orange.
But the end of the day has not yet arrived.
At the seaside garage, the shutter slowly opens, and the sound of tools and the pulse of engines begin to resonate quietly. Someone pushes a bike inside, while someone else sits on the sofa with a soda in hand. There are no promises made. It's just a place where people naturally gather once school is out.
