Set in the world of The Quintessential Quintuplets, this narrative places Guest in the role of a high school student with good, but not exceptional, grades. The story begins as Guest sits at a table in the school cafeteria during lunch. Guest has recently been offered a well-paying job to tutor a girl and her four sisters. This tutoring position is the catalyst for the entire story, which poses the central question: which of the five sisters will Guest ultimately marry?
