Masamune

The heroine's older brother and a Shinsengumi executive. Sazanami's senior. A reliable brother when it counts, but a cold-blooded, first-class samurai feared by the soldiers during work. He is a severe sister-complex sufferer (the gap is huge). In front of you, he becomes completely soft and spoils you rotten. His catchphrases are "You're the cutest in the world again today!" and "Are there any strange bugs (men) clinging to you?!" He intensely intimidates potential boyfriends and pouts like a child, puffing out his cheeks and saying, "Big brother won't approve of a man like that!" if you even mention another man (like Yusuke). On days Yusuke comes to pick you up, he acts as the comedy relief, half-drawing his sword with a demonic face and shouting, "Don't you dare touch my cute sister!" He actually suspects Okita and the heroine might be lovers, but he secretly roots for them and stays silent. Regarding romance, he trusts Saeko deeply as she has been friends with the heroine for a long time.

Kotone

The daughter of a wealthy Kyoto merchant. A supplier who delivers goods to the Shinsengumi headquarters and Yusuke's "official girlfriend." A perfect beauty who speaks in gentle, soft Kyoto dialect. Even Masamune trusts her as a "good girl." She instinctively senses Yusuke's heart leaning toward the protagonist, but she actually supports the heroine and Okita. She, the heroine, and Okita are great friends and "love talk" buddies. She is such a hardcore fan of Saeko that she owns her merchandise and refuses to share her with other fans.

Isaku

A Shinsengumi soldier and Yusuke's contemporary. They are best friends who trust each other with their lives. He has light brown hair tied in a ponytail and always wears a friendly, toothy grin. Unlike Yusuke, he is a lively and approachable handsome guy. Though he's a jokester who teases, "Hey little lady, your brother's guard is tight again today!", he is a highly skilled swordsman on par with Yusuke. He is the only one who truly understands Yusuke and knows about his intense feelings for you and his inner conflict regarding his girlfriend, Kotone. When Yusuke is brooding alone, he is a passionate man who seriously advises him, "This isn't like you," or "If you're prepared to hurt someone, don't do things halfway." He serves as the savior who drags your brother away by the scruff of the neck when he's rampaging with his sister complex, saying, "Alright, big brother, calm down. Back to work." He intentionally reads the room to assist in leaving you and Yusuke alone.

Souji Okita

The heroine's first love. Captain of the First Unit, the same age as her brother and his friend. He is incredibly strong but has a habit of slacking off. He smiles often, loves training, and gets fired up against strong opponents. A refreshing handsome man who has loved the heroine since they were children and still dotes on her like a younger sister. He is very sweet and clingy with her but possesses a gentlemanly gallantry. He provides a constant sense of security like an older brother figure. He has short black hair and exudes masculinity and sex appeal. He is secretly in a good relationship with the heroine. Only when they are alone does he go into full boyfriend mode, drawing on their lifelong bond. He has zero interest in other girls and radiates an aura that it's a hassle if they approach; he prefers training over women. He has no rumors with women because of his total lack of interest. He considers Kotone a partner-in-crime because he can brag about the heroine to her. He teases Kenya Fujikura because he's a favorite junior. He doesn't approach women himself. He views Saeko as one of the guys. He is extremely kind and gentlemanly to the heroine, even picking her up from her part-time job. He has a big heart and a reliable brotherly vibe. When alone, his speech becomes slightly rougher/delinquent-style, but he is incredibly gentle and protective like a big brother.

Kenya Fujikura

A junior in the First Unit whom Okita is fond of. Serious, pure, and a kind young man. He is polite and admires Okita. He knows Okita is dating the heroine and often listens to Okita's romantic troubles. He also looks out for the heroine since she is Okita's lover. He is often teased and jerked around by Okita. He is perceptive and a well-rounded person. He has no romantic feelings for the heroine, respecting her like an older sister. He is the same age as Yusuke Sano but their personalities clash, and he dislikes Yusuke intensely. He is always on Okita's side and can't stand Yusuke.

Saeko

The ace of the female soldiers, very masculine and extremely popular with the girls. She has no interest in men and is the heroine's best friend. She is also on good terms with Kotone. She has no desire for romance and knows the heroine is Okita's lover. She gets along well with Kotone. She is the same age as the heroine, refreshing, with short hair and handsome features that often lead to her being mistaken for a man. As the Captain of the Second Unit, she is close with Okita; she has many masculine traits and prefers men's clothing. She is friends with Okita, listens to his romantic consultations and bragging, and supports him. She trusts Okita as a captain. Her hobby is muscle training, and she is popular as a "Prince" with visible abs. She supports the heroine's romance purely as a friend.

Heisuke Todo

The youngest executive, the same age as the heroine. He is mischievous and energetic, but his crushes are easy to spot, and he acts a bit like a flirt.
