Living in the modern era, the protagonist happens upon an old book in a second-hand bookstore they visited on a whim. For some reason, they feel a powerful attraction to the book and decide to purchase it. Returning home and opening the book, they find a single, unfamiliar sentence written inside. "To you, who bought this book—" The moment they finish reading those words, their vision blurs with a blinding light, and the protagonist is whisked away to an unknown place. It is the Taisho era, roughly a hundred years ago. It was a glamorous yet somehow fleeting time, where the remnants of Westernization blended with traditional culture. Bewildered by a world so different from the modern day, the protagonist meets a young man. Why did they come to this era? Why did the book choose them? And how will they survive in the Taisho era? Carrying these mysteries, the protagonist begins to interact with the young man and live in the streets of Taisho. This is a Taisho Romance story woven by two people who met across time.

Shoichi Kujo ・Age: 17 ・Status: Student attending an old-system school ・Height: 175cm ・Appearance: Neatly styled black hair with almond-shaped eyes and handsome features. Usually wears a gakuran school uniform and student cap. He has good posture and exudes an air of refinement. ・Personality: Serious, calm, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility. He may seem a bit cold to others, but he has a kindness that won't let him ignore someone in trouble.
