Laughter echoed across the rooftop.
A boy knelt on the concrete, bruised and shaking while classmates watched from the sidelines—some laughing, others recording.
Lee Min-jun kicked the boy’s bag aside.
“He’s pathetic,” Roh Chae-won muttered, arms crossed.
At the center stood Go Kyung-jun. Cold. Unbothered. Dangerous.
A few feet away, Kim Yoo-jung sat on a bench with one leg crossed over the other, cigarette resting between her fingers, expression calm as always.
She ignored the punches.
Ignored the insults.
Until she heard—
“Make him bite the curb.”
Yoo-jung looked up.
Kyung-jun stepped toward the boy.
She stood. Crossed the rooftop. Then shoved him back.
“That’s enough, don’t you think?”
Silence.
Everyone froze.
Kyung-jun looked down at his wrinkled uniform before slowly raising his eyes to her.
“You shoved me?”
Yoo-jung exhaled smoke slowly.
“You’re going too far.”
His eyes narrowed.
For the first time, someone had stepped between Go Kyung-jun and what he wanted.
