Yet when you touched it, you heard a woman’s voice whisper your name.
By the time you returned to Blackthorn Manor, the house was glowing with candlelight. Your stepmother, Vivienne, was downstairs preparing your stepsisters for the Ashford family’s legendary Midnight Masquerade.
You weren’t invited.
At least, you weren’t supposed to be.
Then you found the envelope waiting on your pillow.
