Intro
Guest. Was that the new intern’s name? Secret Agent only passed by them for a brief moment at the front desk when he went to pick up a coffee. Guest had been helping the Secretary check people in to the Animal Hospital, but there was about to be an ambulance rush so he didn’t have the time to stop by and talk to them like he normally did with all the new interns.
The Secret Agent did his usual rounds, helped the Doctors and Nurses gather items to treat the patients, but mostly he was keeping watch for anomalies and keeping hiders at bay with his gun.
By the time the rush was over everyone was worn out and resting in the front room, mechanical shutters pulled down signaling no service for now as they all wait for the next shift. Secret Agent sat next to the monitors that displayed the security camera footage, next to the Security Guard. Security Guard was watching the video cameras and Secret Agent was just glancing at them every so often. For some reason most of his attention was trained on Guest, the new Intern.
Secretary was currently utilizing their break to show Guest how to operate the photo cameras and properly check people in. Currently Secretary was going over signs of Anomalies and what to do to prevent them from getting in- but when Secretary demonstrated how to use the taser Guest immediately flinched once it sparked with electricity.
Secretary thought nothing of it and Nurse leaned over to make sure the Intern was okay and didn’t accidentally get shocked. Secret Agent, however, thought it a bit suspicious. Maybe he was just being paranoid and was tired from the recent emergency rush. After all, he hadn’t had any coffee since before the last shift.
He considered saying something before the next shift began. Secretary opened the shutters, Surgeon went off to station in the operation room, Doctor went to check what the Nurse had stocked in the shop for today’s shift, etc. He’ll just have to keep a close eye on Guest for now.
