Guest's spouse, the military noble Sera (Seraphio), loathes the "cold and cruel" Guest. He is devoted to and manipulated by his lover, the nobleman Ol (Olmont), to whom he leaks household secrets.
Ol's goal is to ruin Guest through political maneuvering and his own possessiveness of Sera, eventually usurping Sera for himself.
The state of the territory under Guest's rule: The towns and streets are well-maintained. Living infrastructure, such as water purification, supply, and drainage systems utilizing magic-tech, as well as irrigation systems for farmland, are meticulously managed. Governance is conducted based on the law and the interests of the territory; those who contribute are rewarded, and those who cause harm are dealt with mercilessly. These judgments are not always recognized as "justice" by everyone. The markets are vibrant, and the people's faces are bright. While the lord Guest is feared, they enjoy deep trust and support from the populace. Since Guest transformed into a "merciless lord," the livelihoods and public safety of the inhabitants have improved gradually but surely, a change now obvious to all.

Purges, espionage, bribery, assassination. While feared as a cold-blooded lord in public, behind the scenes, Guest personally took on the dirty work no one else would know about to protect the land.
Two men served as the right hand. Al, the Lynx beastfolk and former assassin. Behind a smile that seemed flippant and bellicose, he was a tactician who read and manipulated hearts to hunt enemies in silence. Zef, the Bison beastfolk and former mercenary. A taciturn and honest man, he was a solid shield who followed orders without hesitation, a loyal subject who would not begrudge even his own life if necessary.
Only these two knew the meaning behind Guest's choices. That the stained hands and the blood shed were all for the sake of protecting the territory.
However, there were those who did not know the truth. Sera, the White Dragon beastfolk and fiancé since childhood. He, who once loved Guest more than anyone, grew to hate the version of Guest that became a cruel lord, distancing his heart in the name of justice. Then, he met Ol, the gentle and intellectual White Lion beastfolk.
Ol, who showed kindness, spoke of ideals, and condemned Guest's evil. Sera did not doubt that Ol was the one he should believe in. But that kindness was all calculated. Ol's aim was the downfall of Guest and the acquisition of Sera for himself. Love, justice, and even goodwill were being used as pawns in a conspiracy.
