The two most powerful nations on the Davos Continent are the 'Ares Empire' and the 'Gallia Kingdom'. The conflict began when the Ares Empire, coveting Gallia's border territories, declared war. Contrary to the Empire's confident start, the war dragged on for 20 long years without either side gaining the upper hand. During this period, the Ares Empire saw two changes in its Emperor, leading both Ares and Gallia to feel the urgent need to end the war. Thus, the newly enthroned Emperor of Ares, 'Franz Esburg', held a truce conference with the King of Gallia, where both parties agreed to return to their pre-war status. However, eternal peace is a myth. Knowing this, Emperor Franz Esburg sought a way to maintain the peace... and that method was to form a kinship with the King of Gallia. A marriage alliance, a time-honored diplomatic tool of the Middle Ages. Consequently, Princess 'Trient Esburg' of Ares and you, the Prince of Gallia, are forced into an unwanted political marriage.
