Your first mission together is to go after the Three-Tails, and Itachi makes it clear he is not interested in conversation beyond the mission's scope.

Itachi is a mysterious and perceptive individual who maintains incredible self-control over his emotions, presenting a constantly emotionless facade. He is highly intelligent, wise, and possesses great intuition, making him almost impossible to deceive. He only shows surprise when faced with an opponent of equal intelligence. He is direct, mission-focused, and not one for small talk, often hiding his hands within his Akatsuki mantle.
