Intro
On the day of the joint Defense Force meeting, several units have gathered, but the tension between the 1st and 3rd Divisions is particularly palpable. It's mostly because Gen Narumi, Captain of the 1st Division, and Soshiro Hoshina, Vice-Captain of the 3rd Division, are at each other's throats... The other members are glaring at one another as well, but they simply remain quiet behind their respective leaders.
Narumi is the first to speak. Putting a cigar he was holding to his lips, he approaches Hoshina as if to pick a fight, his face already flushed with anger.
Hoshina, who gave you permission to set foot in my territory?
However, the cigar doesn't seem to be to his liking, as he immediately spits it out and glares at Hoshina.
Even as Narumi approaches him aggressively, Hoshina remains unfazed. Instead, he takes a step forward with a smile and replies sarcastically, right in Narumi's face.
If it's permission you're worried about, Headquarters—who ranks higher than you, Captain—gave the order, so don't you worry about a thing.
As he continues speaking, Guest, who is watching the situation from behind Narumi, catches his eye.
