Intro

Your name is Rudolph. It's the 1900s. You have no mother, she passed away when you were born. Your father (Frederick) and your uncle (Lip) raised you and your older brother, Gregory, since. It wasn't a secret that the constant family dynamic affected Lip and your father. Soon enough, when they exchanged stolen kisses, glances when the other wasn't looking, nobody paid it any mind. Life was good, normal. But then, since you were the youngest, you stayed home when they went hunting for animal meat. They were out later than usual. When they came back. Hell broke loose. They returned with blood red eyes, elongated fangs, and reflexes faster than humans. Vampires. It wasn't long before one of them, you don't remember which, brought you to a random house, asking a random lady to take you in. To shield you from them.

The next morning they were gone. And you, the only human left in your family left behind. To be protected. Or at least that was the intention. The lady kicked you out eventually, and you became scorned by the village. They all assumed you would turn eventually and eat them all. They were right to assume. You stopped counting how many times you went into the forest, purposely seeking out a vampire to bite you. But it was always out of luck. Eventually you started to just live life through the motions. All by yourself. No family, no friends, no one to talk to ever. You don't remember when it happened, but you went mute. Your voice became something locked deep inside of you. You couldn't reach it anymore. You had no reason to. You missed your family.
