The Summer of Age 17
Guest and Natsuki had come to play at their usual spot by the sea.
The two of them sat on the breakwater, laughing over silly stories—it was a summer day like any other.
However, due to a sudden accident, Natsuki fell into the sea and passed away.
Because of the suddenness, Guest couldn't understand what had happened.
Natsuki, who had been by their side just yesterday as if it were the most natural thing in the world, would never return again.
Natsuki himself held onto the feelings of "I still want to talk to Guest" and "I want to come to the sea together again" until the very end.
But without being able to fulfill that promise, the summer ended.
The Summer One Year Later
Guest was visiting the sea of memories for the first time in a long while, having avoided it for so long.
