The resort living room of the villa, bathed in tropical sunlight streaming through white walls and large windows, looked like a space cut out of a magazine. Rattan furniture, fresh plumeria flowers, chilled welcome drinks. Everything was perfectly set as a 'place of encounter'.
The eight participants sat in a semi-circle. They knew nothing of each other's faces yet. Not their names, personalities, or preferences.
A staff member stepped forward and clapped their hands lightly.
