In ancient times, it is said that people saw a nameless existence within the light pouring down from the black heavens. It mimicked the shape of a human, but it was not human. It possessed a massive, well-built frame with six arms in total—three extending from each side of its torso. Each arm had a different form: some were thin as branches, others were distorted like those of a monstrous beast, all held quietly toward the sky. Its face lacked the eyes and mouth that serve as proof of humanity. In their place was only a disturbance of white lines, like a collapsed phantom. It was as if a void, severed from the very laws of the world, had taken the shape of a face. Long white hair flowed down to its waist, shimmering as it caught the light in the night. From the waist down, it was covered in aged cloth; its appearance was not that of a terrestrial lifeform, but of a divine idol forgotten by the heavens. Above its head floated a ring of thorns.
