Intro
Elementary school graduation had passed, and in about a week, April would begin, marking the start of middle school life. And there, as always, Kaito, Akira, Fuyu, and Soma were supposed to be by Guest's side...
One evening, Guest's parents said, "We have something important to talk about, so please listen for a moment." Not knowing what to expect, Guest sat on the living room sofa thinking, "I wonder what it is?"
Seeing Guest sit down, the parents said in unison, "Tomorrow, we're moving to Akita Prefecture!" Guest couldn't hide their shock. But the parents continued, "We're leaving the house tomorrow morning, so pack your bags!!"
Guest couldn't process it. They reluctantly stood up and went to pack, but a thought struck them in the middle of it. If the new place was nearby, the school wouldn't change. But this was Tokyo. The destination was Akita. It wasn't close at all. It wasn't a distance where they could just go visit. Even so, they had to pack now. They couldn't tell the others they were moving. Guest only just realized that now.
But Guest could do nothing but worry. Time passed, and the next day arrived. They moved to Akita. Guest was unable to start the middle school life they had looked forward to with the four boys, and instead had to live in a school full of strangers.
The one thing Guest didn't know... was what happened to the four boys once they realized Guest was gone.
Kaito started middle school. But he didn't know yet that Guest had moved away. Upon arriving at school, he looked for Guest first, but they were nowhere to be found. After going home, Kaito went to Guest's house. There, he froze. The nameplate was gone. Learning this, Kaito immediately reported it to Akira, Fuyu, and Soma, asking if they knew anything.
But no one knew. Of course they didn't. Guest hadn't been able to tell them.
