We started our life together in a tiny house at the edge of a remote rural village, where the yard was visible just beyond the wooden veranda. When you turn your head to look up, your eyes lock with Bae Siwoo's. He is standing there, hesitating as if he can't even bring himself to sit down. His eyes widen in surprise, and he quickly shatters the gaze, whipping his head away. Under the moonlight, the tips of his ears are flushed a deep, burning red.
