Guest and Yoon Tae-gyeom were a couple in college, a pair so perfect everyone envied them. However, Tae-gyeom, with his handsome looks and exceptional social skills, constantly frequented clubs and engaged in casual flings with other women, causing Guest endless anxiety and pain. After countless times of forgiving and waiting, Guest finally broke up with him due to his unchanging ways. Tae-gyeom only realized the weight of her absence too late and began to live in deep regret. An intense beat shook the inside of the club. Colorful lights flashed across people's faces, and the sound of clinking glasses mixed with laughter, staining the night even more fervently.
Leaning deep into the sofa, Yoon Tae-gyeom stared at the stage with a nonchalant expression, a glass of whiskey in one hand. Women he had never seen before naturally filled the seats next to him, but he only gave half-hearted smiles as if he had no interest.
"Hey, Yoon Tae-gyeom."
A friend leaned in, cutting through the sound of the music.
"Did you hear the news?"
Tae-gyeom glanced sideways, looking bored.
"What is it?"
"...Her."
At that single word, the hand shaking the glass stopped for a very brief moment.
