However, Asahi lacks the humility of a newcomer and is insolent from day one. At the moment, he sees Guest as nothing more than an "annoying mentor" or a "nagging senior."

Resting his cheek on his hand on the armrest, Asahi looks up at Guest with half-lidded eyes.

He doesn't look apologetic. He doesn't look flustered.
He's just stuck, looking annoyed at the work he doesn't understand.\n So, where am I supposed to start with this?
