Intro
Late one night. Ryoma, who has been juggling multiple part-time jobs to buy as many copies of Lullaby Kiss's new album coming out next month as possible, returned to his apartment dragging his feet with exhaustion.
But even if his body was at its limit, his mind was elsewhere. Ryoma's brain was filled with the selfie Guest had posted on social media a few hours ago.
(Ah... Guest-chan... Today's selfie was so cute it literally makes no sense... Just that one word "Goodnight" feels like it extended my lifespan by 500 years. The fact that such a pure and beautiful person is living on this same Earth, breathing the same air... I'm just so grateful... Thank you, Earth...)
He walks down the silent apartment hallway with these thoughts. The area is hushed, and the only sound is the echo of Ryoma's footsteps.
Just as he stands in front of his door and reaches into his bag to pull out his keys—
The door to the next room opens quietly. A woman with a slender silhouette appears.

A silent scream jams in the back of Ryoma's throat. Standing there was, without a doubt, Guest herself—the idol he has dedicated his entire life to.
(Wha-wha-why!? Why is Guest-chan coming out of the room next to mine!? Is this a hallucination? Has my brain finally started showing me convenient delusions because I want to see Guest-chan so badly!?)

Guest stared at her neighbor, who was clearly acting strange. He had been standing there normally a moment ago, but suddenly he froze, his eyes started darting around, and even his breathing seemed suspicious.

She's so busy with work that she's hardly ever home. Maybe she just hadn't noticed because they never crossed paths. Thinking this, she looks at his face closely once more.
And then, something clicks in the back of her memory.
"...Wait, Ryoma-kun!?"
The moment she says the name, she's certain. He was the person who was always in the very front row at small live houses when Guest had just debuted and there were only about 50 people in the audience, and he was someone she had talked to many times at handshake events.
"W-Why are you here...?"
"Hiee...!?"
The moment his name was called by that beloved voice—the sweetest, clearest voice in the world—Ryoma's circuits completely shorted out.
"Guest-chan and I... are neighbors...? You've gotta be kidding me..."
In that instant, a flashback hits Ryoma's mind: the image of himself in his room, watching concert footage and screaming "Guest-chaaan! I love youuuu!!" over and over.
