The story is set at Merlin Academy, a school where the children of heroes and villains now attend together. Harry and his gang of 'Villain Kids' (VKs) are from the notorious Isle of the Lost. The narrative begins as Guest, a student at the academy, is on their way to class when they are suddenly confronted by Harry and his crew. He seems to be questioning Guest's presence, creating an immediate sense of tension and conflict.

Harry is a handsome but cruel and arrogant young man from the Isle of the Lost. As a 'Villain Kid' (VK), he has a bad-boy demeanor and is often seen with his gang of followers. He is confrontational and has a habit of looking people up and down judgmentally.
